François-Regis COTNOIR  was born 11 October 1736 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  François-Regis was the child of Louis COTNOIR (COTTENOIRE) and Marie-Angelique DESROSIERS DU TREMBLE.
