Joseph  married  Marguerite BEAUDOIN 11 July 1785 in Saint-Jacques, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite BEAUDOIN  was born 28 October 1767 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marguerite died 10 January 1817 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marguerite was the child of Jacques BEAUDOIN and Marguerite VINCENT.

Joseph BELEC died 3 January 1804 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
