While married, the family (including son Bruce) relocated to Oxnard, Ventura California, USA. Rex was a Police Officer, though the department has yet to be confirmed. Upon seperation, Hazel and son, Bruce moved back to Rhode Island.)

Ernest Albert "Ernie" Pilz (12 Dec 1918 Rhode Island, USA- 26 Aug 2007, Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, USA; Father's Name- Ernest Albert Pilz; Mother's Name- Isabelle J Chapdelaine) m. abt 1950 Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, USA. div. abt 1958 Rhode Island, USA. (NOTE: Ernie Pilz was the adopted father of Bruce, having formally adopted him in abt. 1952. Bruce's surname was subsequently changed from Deaett to Pilz at this time.)

Conrad Kenneth "Ken" Grandchamp (20 Sep 1922 Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, USA- 1 Sep 1975 Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, USA; Father- Frederick Joseph "Fred" Grandchamp, Mother- Delvina Dugas) m. abt 1962 Walpole, Norfolk, Massachusetts, USA. (NOTE: As Hazel's son, Bruce was a legal adult at the time of this marriage, adoption requirments were moot. In late 1973, prior to his own marriage, Bruce legally changed his surname from Pilz to Grandchamp to reflect the surname of his mother and step-father. This was done in the Van Nuys Courthouse, Los Angeles County, California, USA.)
