Jean-Baptiste RICHARD was the child of Martin RICHARD   and   Marguerite BOURG and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Michel RICHARD dit SANSOUCY and Madeleine BLANCHARD (maternal)  François BOURC (BOURG) and Marguerite BOUDROT

Jean-Baptiste was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

Marriage(s) and Child(ren):

He married  Marie Catherine CORMIER abt. 1740 .  Marie Catherine CORMIER  was born 16 May 1722 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada / Beaubassin, Acadia (Fort Lawrence).  She was the daughter of Alexis CORMIER and Marie Anne LEBLANC.

He married  (2) Anne MARTIN 23 July 1778 in St-Jacques de Cabahannocer, Louisiana, USA .  Anne MARTIN  was born 7 March 1720 in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada / Port Royal, Acadia.  She was the daughter of Étienne MARTIN and Marie Jeanne COMEAU.
