'Finally, Jean, the youngest but not the least, god-son of Claude, his brother, and his half-sister, Marie-Madeleine Beaudoin, was first headed towards priesthood... At [Boucherville] on 8 July 1710, he married Marie-Jeanne Tailhandier, daughter of the seigneurial judge Marien and of Madeleine Beaudry.
