Jeanne Huneault and her husband, Adrien Quevillon, who had six children, were captured at the time of the Iroquois attacks on Riviere-des-Prairies and Lachenaye in 1692 and 1693.
Adrien was killed and Jeanne, with her daughters, Angelique, about 11 or 12 years old, and Catherine, between 6 and 7 years old, were taken into captivity. The other children apparently escaped injury except for Pierre, age 15, who was seriously wounded, because he is found on the list of patients at the hospital of Quebec [l'Hotel-Dieu], dated May 24; he left on June 26, 1693, after which there is no more trace of him in the records.
