Marie-Monique CHATEL  was born 7 May 1750 in Lavaltrie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine).  Marie-Monique was the child of Jean-Baptiste CHATEL and Marie-Catherine DESAUTELS dite LAPOINTE.

Louis  married  (2) Marie-Catherine PRUNIER 29 April 1811 in Yamaska, Lower Canada .  Marie-Catherine PRUNIER  was born 3 October 1772 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Marie-Catherine died 25 February 1814 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Marie-Catherine was the child of Martin PRUNIER dit VADEBONCOEUR and Pelagie THIBERT.
