Jean-Louis  married  Marie-Josephte DEGAME (DEGANNE) 30 January 1758 in Repentigny, Canada, New France .  Marie-Josephte DEGAME (DEGANNE)  was born 19 June 1736 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Josephte was the child of Laurent DEGAME (DEGANNE) and Josephte LEVESQUE dite SANSOUCY.

Jean-Louis MAHEU died 9 March 1807 in Saint-Jacques, Lower Canada .
