Marie-Anne-Judith ARCHAMBAULT  was born 13 February 1752 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Anne-Judith died 27 August 1785 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Anne-Judith was the child of Jean-Baptiste ARCHAMBAULT and Marie-Anne MARTIN.

Joseph  married  (2) Marie-Anne LEFEBVRE 9 November 1789 in Repentigny, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Anne LEFEBVRE  was born 28 January 1760 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-Madeleine).  Marie-Anne died 20 June 1795 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Anne was the child of Jacques LEFEBVRE dit LACROIX and Marie-Madeleine ROCHEREAU.

Joseph  married  (3) Charlotte CHAMBERLAND 24 August 1801 in Montréal, Lower Canada .  Charlotte CHAMBERLAND  was born 6 May 1766 in Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada (Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola).  Charlotte died 1 February 1827 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Charlotte was the child of Jean-Baptiste CHAMBERLAND and Louise-Ursule-Gertrude LEMIEUX.

Joseph GAUTHIER dit LANDREVILLE died 28 September 1815 in Montréal, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
