François BERNARD  was born 6 October 1740 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada (Beaubassin, Acadia) (Fort Lawrence).  François died 18 August 1820 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  François was the child of Jean Baptiste BERNARD and Marie Cecile GAUDET.
