Joseph MASSE was the child of Jean-Baptiste MASSÉ dit BEAUMIER   and   Geneviève LEBLANC dite LABRIE and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Jacques MASSÉ dit BEAUMIER and Marie-Catherine GUILLET (maternal)  Nicolas LEBLANC dit LABRIE and Geneviève PETIT dite MILHOMME

Joseph  married  Marie-Françoise DUBUC 25 October 1756 in Champlain, Canada, New France .  Marie-Françoise DUBUC  was born 15 January 1729 in Neuville, Portneuf, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales).  Marie-Françoise died 20 October 1757 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-Madeleine).  Marie-Françoise was the child of Michel DUBUC and Françoise VOYER.

Joseph  married  (2) Josephte DURAND 14 June 1762 in Champlain, Canada .  Josephte DURAND  was born 24 July 1720 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Josephte was the child of René DURAND dit DESMARCHAIS and Catherine DESHAYES (DESHAIES).

Joseph MASSE died 7 April 1787 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Province of Québec, Canada .
