Jacques  married  Marie-Françoise COUTURIER 11 January 1751 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Canada, New France .  Marie-Françoise COUTURIER  was born 30 June 1728 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Françoise died 5 March 1821 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Marie-Françoise was the child of Pierre COUTURIER dit LABONTÉ and Gertrude MAUGRAS.

Jacques CARTIER died 14 July 1774 in Yamaska, Province of Québec, Canada .
