Joseph MAURICE dit LAFANTAISIE  was born 10 August 1748 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Joseph died 8 February 1826 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Joseph was the child of Jean-François MAURICE dit LAFANTAISIE and Madeleine LEDUC.
