Joseph  married  Marie-Marguerite FONTAINE dite BIENVENUE 9 January 1745 in Verchères, Canada, New France .  Marie-Marguerite FONTAINE dite BIENVENUE  was born 15 February 1694 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Marie-Marguerite died 5 May 1766 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Marie-Marguerite was the child of Pierre FONTAINE dit BIENVENUE and Marie-Marguerite ANTHIAUME.
