QUINEBAUG, CT Joan B. Mayotte, 60, of Green Acres Lane, died Wednesday afternoon at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.
She was born in Webster, MA on January 3, 1944, a daughter of the late Allen Korch and Beatrice (Lemieux) Serafin of Fabyan. Mrs. Mayotte was the beloved wife of Ernest A. Mayotte. Joan was a homemaker and a communicant of Saint Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves 2 sons; Michael of Danielson and David of Woodstock, 1 daughter; Janet Wornham of Worcester, MA, 3 brothers and 6 grandchildren.
The funeral will assemble on Saturday at 10:15 a.m at the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, North Grosvenordale with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m in Saint Joseph Church, 18 Main Street, North Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
