QUINEBAUG, CT Joan B. Mayotte, 60, of Green Acres Lane, died Wednesday afternoon at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.
She was born in Webster, MA on January 3, 1944, a daughter of the late Allen Korch and Beatrice (Lemieux) Serafin of Fabyan. Mrs. Mayotte was the beloved wife of Ernest A. Mayotte. Joan was a homemaker and a communicant of Saint Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves 2 sons; Michael of Danielson and David of Woodstock, 1 daughter; Janet Wornham of Worcester, MA, 3 brothers and 6 grandchildren.
The funeral will assemble on Saturday at 10:15 a.m at the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, North Grosvenordale with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m in Saint Joseph Church, 18 Main Street, North Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. If desired, donations may be made in Joans
