Mrs. HERBERT L. DANIELS

Mrs. Eva E. Daniels, 60, wife of Herbert L. Daniels of Shaftsbury, died Monday night at Putnam Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Shaftsbury Dec 25, 1910, she was the daughter of George and Edith (Frisbie) Galusha. Her education had been received in the local schools and she and Mr. Daniels were married in May 1933 in North Bennington by the late Msgr. Thomas J. Burke. They had always resided in Shaftsbury, and while her health permitted she was greatly interested in Morgan horses. She was formerly employed at Union Carbide in Bennington.
Survivors besides her husband are two sons, George "Sam" Daniels of Shaftsbury and Ronald Daniels of Arlington; three daughters, Mrs. John (Beverly) Dell'Arma of Shaftsbury, Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Knight of Sandgate and Mrs. John (Sandra) Hamilton of Shaftsbury; two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Russell of Waterbury, Vt., and Mrs. Luella McLean of Bennington; 10 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A family service will be held on Wednesday. There will be recitation of the Rosary today at 8 pm. Friends may call at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home in Bennington tonight from 7 to 9. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery with burial in Center Shaftsbury in the spring.

Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to the United Counseling Service through the office of the funeral home.
