Obituary
CARL, DONALD R., 80, beloved husband of Carolyn A. Carl; father and stepfather of David Carl, Kenneth Brindamour and Cynthia Salvato, Cathy and Roland Davide, and the late James Brindamour and his widow Marsha. Donald died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and valued his military service and experience. He was a machining specialist with EG&G Sealol for 37 years and decorated by the White House for his achievements. Donald loved to play golf and was a longtime member of the Coventry Pines Golf Course Senior League. A life-long resident of Coventry, RI, he also lived part-time in Natalie Estates of Stuart, FL. Donald is survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Irene Masse, Dorothy Centracchio, Clifford Carl and Cleo Bates. Funeral from Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Monday, June 17 at 9 AM followed with A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. Calling hours are Sunday, June 16 from 3-6 PM.
