MRS. DAVID E. CESAN
"Suffield Conn., April 4 - Mrs. Irene C. (Crouss) Cesan, 58, of Freda Hollister Dr., formerly of Agawam, Mass., died at Springfield Hospital Monday morning. She was born in Agawam, March 16, 1897, the daughter of Charles T. and Fanny (Kathan) Crouss and had been a lifelong resident of Agawam until moving to Suffield a year and a half ago. She was a member of the Feeding Hills Congregational Church and a former member of the Agawam Baptist Church, where she was active in young people's work and in the Church Sunday School. During the war years she was active in the American Red Cross and was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of the Women's Republican Club. Besides her husband, David E. Cesan, she leaves a daughter, Miss Ruth Irene Cesan of Hartford, Conn.; two sons, David T. Cesan and John S. Cesan of Feeding Hills; two brothers, Theodore A. Crouss of West Springfield and George W. Crouss of Agawam; and three grandchildren, David Wesley, Donna Elizabeth and Anne Elizabeth Cesan."
