South Sioux City - Emma J. Treadway, 76, of South Sioux city died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1993, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Becker - Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City with the Reb. Owen Lester officiating. Burial will be in the Omaha Valley Cemetery, rural Homer, Neb. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Treadway was born Dec. 19, 1916 in Homer, the daughter of George and Emma (Harris) Trickey. She married Hubert H. Treadway Sept. 8, 1934, in South Sioux City. He died in march 1977 in Los Angeles,. She had lived in California from 1960 to 1980, when she returned to South Sioux City.
Survivors include four sons, Hubert M. of South Sioux City, Benny G. of Ames, Iowa, Eddie of Sioux City, and Earl of Jackson, Neb.; two daughters, Delores Beckenbach of Long Beach, Calif., and Leona Marshall of Bellflower, Calif.; a brother Edgar Trickey of South Sioux City; 28 grandchildren; and several great and great - great- grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Hubert M. Benny, Eddie, Randy, Andy and Chris Treadway.
