Mrs. Henry Kaiser Has Birthday Party
Well Known Woman Presented Gold Cane by Her Friends
Thirty neighbors and friends of Mrs Henry Kaiser of Smith street were guests at a birthday party in her honor at the home of her daughter Mrs Walter Horn of Orchard street Thursday afternoon.
The house was prettily decorated for the occasion with flowers and ferns. The musical program was made up of old time songs and colonial songs were sung by Mrs Frank Malley, Mrs James Steel and Mrs Harry Ford accompanied by Mrs W K Tyler. Miss Paige Horn also played several coronet selections. The feature of the program was an entertainment by Mrs Kaiser's two small granddaughters, Pauline Horn and Nora Kaiser. Refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by Mrs George Howe and Mrs Walter Barber.
During the afternoon Mrs Kaiser was presented a gold headed cane by Mrs Frank Beebe in behalf of the guests. Before leaving all present were presented a potted plant as a favor.
