The J.W. Bishop Company was established in 1874 by John w. Bishop who formed in 1879 with George H. Cutting the firm of Cutting & Bishop. In 1893 the partnership was dissolved, and the business continued by Mr. Bishop until 1899, when the present corporation was formed with John W. Bishop as president...
