Jacques Mongeau was the son of Pierre Mongeau and Louise Dubois

Thomas J. Laforest
Our French-Canadian Ancestors : Volume XI, Page 162

'It may be concluded from this information that the Mongeau family debarked at the capital of the colony in 1662. Pierre Mongeau was accompanied by his wife Louise Dubois and four children: Jacques, Pierre, Catherine and Jean-Baptiste. The three others: Jeanne, Etienne and a second Jeanne had been carried away by childhood illnesses.'
