Athanase married (2) Geneviève LEVASSEUR 13 April 1812 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Lower Canada . Geneviève LEVASSEUR was born 10 June 1759 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City). Geneviève died 29 September 1839 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-Rouville) . Geneviève was the child of Louis-Antoine LEVASSEUR and Anne NUIRAT.
