"The grandfather of Mrs. Durfee (Anne Freeborn) was William Freeborn, who 'embarked from Ipswich, Suffolk Co., England, in the Frances, for New England, on the 10th of April, 1634.' His family were registerd as passengers as follows:
'William Freeborn, at the age of 40 years.'
'Mary ____ Freeborn, his wife, at the age of 33 years; and three children, Mary 7 years old; Sarah 2 years old, and John Aldburgh 14 years old.'"
