'At Preston library today, I found a file prepared by the town historian, used to write a book on Preston history. Some notes: Richard is said to have died in 1695. His widow, Grace, married Benjamin Spalding of Plainfield. Obed bought the rights of his
Sister: s after Richard died. The release from Obed's
Sister: s was dated 1716 [I think it means the records are located in Norwich, I will have to check] and included: Joseph Benjamin and his wife Elizabeth, John Carter and his wife Mary, Samuel Lenard and his wife Lydia, John Andrews and his wife Sarah and John Cook. '
