'Claude junior, 7th at home by order of birth, was first allied to the Caron family by marrying Francoise, in 1718; she gave him but one child who did not survive. Claude was married again, to Genevieve Marchand in 1718; father of 4 Marchand-Carpentier children, he was unexpectedly struck down by death and buried at Quebec on 7 July 1728.'
