Charles  married  Marie-Josephe TREMBLAY 19 October 1778 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Josephe TREMBLAY  was born 19 December 1759 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  Marie-Josephe died 15 November 1812 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  Marie-Josephe was the child of Jacques TREMBLAY and Marie-Josephe BLOUIN.

Charles  married  (2) Marie-Ursule BLOUIN 9 September 1816 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Lower Canada .  Marie-Ursule BLOUIN  was born abt. 1796 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marie-Ursule was the child of Emery BLOUIN and Marie Josephte UNKNOWN.

Charles BLOUIN died 21 August 1844 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Lower Canada .

Biographie

Né à Saint-Jean (île d'Orléans), et baptisé le 3 novembre 1753, dans l'église paroissiale, fils de Joseph Blouin, capitaine dans la milice, et de Marie-Joseph Blais.

Agriculteur dans la paroisse Saint-Jean. Nommé capitaine dans la milice le 3 avril 1809.

Élu député d'Orléans en 1810. Réélu en 1814 et en 1816. Appuya le Parti canadien. Ne se serait pas représenté en avril 1820.

Décédé à Saint-Jean (île d'Orléans), le 21 août 1844, à l'âge de 90 ans et 9 mois. Inhumé dans le cimetière paroissial, le 22 août 1844.

Avait épousé dans sa paroisse natale, le 19 octobre 1778, sa parente Marie-Joseph Tremblay, fille de Jacques Tremblay et de Marie-Joseph Blouin; puis, au même endroit, le 9 septembre 1816, sa parente Marie-Ursule Blouin, fille de l'agriculteur Émery Blouin et d'une prénommée Marie-Joseph.
