Joseph  married  Marguerite MOYEN (MORIN) 6 February 1769 in Lachenaie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite MOYEN (MORIN)  was born 29 March 1753 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, Canada.  Marguerite died 21 June 1771 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Marguerite was the child of Jacques Christophe MOYEN and Marguerite CHIASSON.

Joseph  married  (2) Genevieve ROCHON 25 January 1773 in Lachenaie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Genevieve ROCHON  was born 11 March 1755 in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Laval, Québec, Canada.  Genevieve was the child of Ambroise ROCHON and Madeleine BACHAND dite VERTEFEUILLE.

Joseph CHARBONNEAU died 5 September 1819 in L'Assomption, Lower Canada .
