'The first record of Ezra Perry of Sandwich is the mention of his subscription to the Minister's salary June 7, 1644. He was then nineteen years old. He may have arrived earlier, but no record has been found to show an earlier date... It is supposed that he came from Devonshire, England, with others of his family... Besides Ezra there appeared in Sandwich (other Perrys)... These Perrys... are regared as the brother and sisters of Ezra... Hannah Perry married Henry Dillingham, June 24, 1652... Sarah Perry is thought to have been the mother of the five children, Ezra, Edward, Margaret, Deborah, and Hannah, and the wife of Edmund Perry, who was among the forty 'undertakers' who came from Saugus (Lynn) to Sandwich, June 2, 1637. This is borne out further by the following record in the published records of Plymouth Colonly, Vols. III and IV, p. 163: 'Ezra Perry is allowed by the court to be the exequitur of the estate of Sarah Perry...'
