    Isaac, born Feb. 5, 1688, and married Feb. 21, 1715-16, Rebecca, great grand daughter of Rev. John Lathrop, of England, and later of Scituate and Barnstable, Mass. He was early brought into the public service, in which he continued all his life. He 'was a professed Christian, having entered the church in 1731, on whose records his name often occurs, in relations which show he was regarded as a sound and safe ecclesiastical counselor.
