Joseph-René HERPIN (ARPIN)  was born 10 July 1749 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Joseph-René died 4 December 1809 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Joseph-René was the child of René-Guillaume HERPIN (ARPIN) dit POITEVIN and Thérèse BAUDREAU dite GRAVELINE.
