Obituary
Mr. Leo U. Renaud, 74, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007, at approximately 12:30 p.m. Mr. Renaud was born in 1932 in Southridge, MA and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Keesler AFB, and retired from the Biloxi VA Medical Center after 25 years of employment. He was a member of Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Mr. Renaud was a musician and performed with several well-known Coast jazz groups, including the Star Dusters and Biloxi Jazz. He was a member of the Jazz Society. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Laura 'Marguerite' Nicovich Renaud; parents, Frank and Eva Renaud; sister, Irene Morin, and two brothers, Frank Renaud, Jr., and George Renaud. Survivors include his children, Robert M. Renaud, Laura L. Atkinson and her husband, Jerry, Marco F. Renaud, Janet Renaud, Carol A. Demourelle and her husband, Jimmy, all of Biloxi; his brother, Albert Renaud of El Paso,...Read full story
