François  married  Marie-Marguerite FORGET dite DESPATITS 3 February 1744 in Lachenaie, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 14 children.
Marie-Marguerite FORGET dite DESPATITS  was born 23 June 1722 in Laval, Québec, Canada (Saint François-de-Sales-de-l'Ile-Jésus).  Marie-Marguerite died 14 October 1778 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Marguerite was the child of Jean-Baptiste FORGET dit DESPATITS and Jeanne BAUDOIN (BEAUDOIN).

François  married  (2) Marie-Anne GUILBAULT 31 January 1780 in Verchères, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Anne GUILBAULT  was born 7 November 1730 in La-Pérade, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade).  Marie-Anne was the child of Joseph GUILBAULT-GRANDBOIS and Marie-Madeleine CHAREST.

François PHANEUF died 7 September 1785 in Contrecœur, Province of Québec, Canada .
