Pierre-Victor DUSSAULT dit TOUPIN  was born 20 April 1778 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Pierre-Victor was the child of Jean-Baptiste DUSSAULT dit TOUPIN and Marie-Louise PRIVÉ.
