Pierre-Paul DESMARAIS  was born 9 August 1752 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Pierre-Paul died 29 March 1817 in Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Pierre-Paul was the child of Pierre-Paul DESMARAIS and Marie-Elisabeth LEDUC.

Marie-Françoise  married  (2) Jean-François PLANTE 5 March 1821 in Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada .  Jean-François PLANTE  was born 26 October 1756 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Québec, Canada.  Jean-François died 12 April 1841 in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Québec, Canada (Saint-Hilaire).  Jean-François was the child of Basile PLANTE and Marie-Françoise FORTIER.
