Pierre  married  Agathe OSSANT (AUSSANT) 1 March 1756 in Sorel, Canada, New France .  Agathe OSSANT (AUSSANT)  was born 12 October 1731 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Agathe died 4 January 1757 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Agathe was the child of Ange OSSANT (AUSSAN) and Antoinette BONIN dite DÉLISLE.

Pierre  married  (2) Marie-Marguerite DESROSIERS 6 February 1758 in Sorel, Canada, New France .  Marie-Marguerite DESROSIERS  was born 26 October 1736 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Marguerite died 19 January 1761 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Marguerite was the child of Antoine DESROSIERS DU TREMBLE and Marie-Anne ST-YVES.

Pierre  married  (3) Catherine GAUTHIER DELISLE 7 January 1762 in Sorel, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Catherine GAUTHIER DELISLE  was born 11 March 1742 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Catherine died 2 May 1818 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Catherine was the child of Guillaume GAUTHIER dit DELISLE and Marguerite-Marie MASSON dite DUTREMBLE.

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
