Capt. Caleb Bushnell was a Townsman in 1709, 1711, and 1714 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. He was born 26 May 1679 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. He married his first cousin, Anne Leffingwell, daughter of Ensign Thomas Leffingwell and Mary Bushnell, on 24 July 1699 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. He was comissioned Captain in the train band in 1718. He died at age 45 on 12 February 1724/ 25 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. He was buried in the Old Burying Ground in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.
