Marie-Catherine LAURENCE was the child of Noel LAURENCE and Isabelle-Elizabeth BERTAULT
Marriage notes:
"Catherine, born at Contrecoeur on the first of November 1676, was presented two days later for baptism at the chapel of Sorel. Antoine Emery dit Coderre, a former soldier in the Regiment, served as her godfather. Catherine Pillat, wife of Pierre Charron dit Ducharme, bequeathed her first name tot he infant, as godmother. On 11 January 1705, at Repentigny, Catherine was married to Francois Vignault dit Tranchemontagne, originally from Limoges in Limousin. Their eight children were all baptized at the church of Saint-Sulpice. Catherine was buried in the local cemetery on 25 January 1742. Francois Vignault or Vigneux died at the age of 96."
