Michel SABOURIN dit CHAUNIERE (CHOINIERE)  was born 12 July 1754 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Pointe-Olivier).  Michel died 9 September 1838 in Saint-Valentin, Québec, Canada.  Michel was the child of Joseph-Toussaint SABOURIN dit CHAUNIERE and Marie-Anne LAPORTE.
