Betsy Lane Tedeschi, 92, of Wallingford, formerly of Ezra Street, North Haven passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of 61 years to the late William A. Tedeschi. Born in Vandemere, North Carolina on August 15, 1921; daughter of the late George A. and Vera Inez Dupree Lane. Mrs. Tedeschi worked as a Hearing Impaired Aide for the North Haven School System and later as the secretary at St. Johns Episcopal Church, North Haven. A very active member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, she served on the altar guild and was member of its vestry. Mrs. Tedeschi enjoyed playing bridge having been a member of many different bridge clubs; was the 'best' cook and an excellent baker being known for her infamous pecan pie. Mother of Kenneth Tedeschi and his wife Barbara, Terri Tedeschi and her husband Paul Bacon. Grandmother of Thomas, Samantha and Ian Guertin, John and David Tedeschi. Predeceased...Read full story
