Louis FOISY dit LAFRENIÈRE  was born 12 June 1718 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Louis died 7 March 1760 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Louis was the child of Jacques FOISY dit FRESNIÈRE and Marie-Charlotte VEGIARD dite LABONTÉ.
