Joseph  married  Marguerite LAURE (LORD) 27 January 1766 in Yamachiche, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite LAURE (LORD)  was born abt. 1746 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Marguerite died 26 September 1825 in Yamachiche, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche).  Marguerite was the child of Jean LAURE (LORD) and Marie-Madeleine COMEAU.

Joseph BLAIS died 27 March 1806 in Yamachiche, Lower Canada .
