Neither Jetté nor PRDH show this link, nor do they show any parents or place of origin for Élisabeth Drouet's husband. We know that the husband of Suzanne Hérault could not have also been the husband of Élisabeth Drouet, as the former died in 1664, while the latter had children in 1669 and 1672. We also know that the husband of Catherine Gateau could not have also been the husband of Élisabeth Drouet, as they both had children in 1672; their ages are decades apart; and we have a separate 1703 burial record for the former." findagrave.com

Biography
JEAN - from the Hebrew name 'Yohanan' which means the lord is merciful, via the Latin Jo(h)annes.

Vivien Jean was born around 1618 in France. He married Élisabeth Drouet around 1668. From their union, 2 children were born. In 1699, he rented for 2 years, in exchange for half of his grain, the state land of the Talon town. Then, he bought land at the square line of Bourg-Royal which he resold in 1672. Then, he settled on a land of 3 arpents frontage by 40 arpents deep in the seigneury of Beaumont. His wife died on July 24, 1700 at the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. He died in Beaumont on June 9, 1708.
