"Some researchers have attempted to link Vivien with the family of another settler of the same name, who had lived in La Rochelle and Écoyeux (Charente-Maritime). Neither Jetté nor PRDH show this link, nor do they show any parents or place of origin for Élisabeth Drouet's husband. We know that the husband of Suzanne Hérault could not have also been the husband of Élisabeth Drouet, as the former died in 1664, while the latter had children in 1669 and 1672. We also know that the husband of Catherine Gateau could not have also been the husband of Élisabeth Drouet, as they both had children in 1672; their ages are decades apart; and we have a separate 1703 burial record for the former." findagrave.com
