Theotiste died 10 July 1839 in Château-Richer, Québec, Canada (La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame de Chateau-Richer). Theotiste was the child of Jean-Baptiste TREMBLAY and Angélique SIMARD.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.
