Billie Holiday, born Eleanora Fagan on April 7, 1915, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was a legendary jazz and blues singer who left an indelible mark on the music industry. Her tumultuous life was characterized by both the brilliance of her musical talent and the hardships she faced.

Billie's early years were challenging. She grew up in poverty, and her parents struggled with their own difficulties, which eventually led to their separation. Raised primarily by her mother, Billie endured a challenging childhood. At just 10 years old, she faced the trauma of her parents' separation and was sent to a Catholic reform school. These early experiences shaped her resilience but also fueled her rebellious spirit.

The microwave oven was invented accidentally in 1945 by Percy Spencer, a Raytheon engineer. While testing a magnetron, he noticed microwaves melted a candy bar in his pocket. Experimenting further, he discovered microwaves could cook food quickly. Raytheon patented the process, and by 1947, they built the first commercial microwave oven, called the 'Radarange.' Initially used in commercial settings, microwaves becomes affordable for home use by the 1960s and 1970s, revolutionizing cooking.
