Bailey Robert Windus, born February 11, 1999 died December 4, 2020
Bailey, our beloved 21-year-old, died in a tragic car accident in South Lake Tahoe. Bailey was born and raised in Sonoma County. His early childhood was spent in Guerneville with his Mom, Dad, and two sisters. He often spoke about this being the happiest time of his life. After losing his mother Susan in 2012 when he was 13, he struggled greatly with a broken heart and the devastation from the loss. In the last three years of his life, Bailey turned his life around. Impressively, he returned to school, graduating high school at the top of his class. He then went on to attend the S.R.J.C. earning a 4.0 GPA, while working to support himself. Bailey was hardworking, persistent, and dedicated. His passion was to become a child psychologist, so that he could help with the healing of other children who suffered from trauma and loss.
