Joseph ROY dit DESJARDINS  was born 5 August 1778 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Joseph died 11 March 1841 in Saint-André, Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (St-Andre).  Joseph was the child of Jean-Baptiste ROY dit DESJARDINS and Marie-Catherine CORDEAU dite DESLAURIERS.
