Obituary
Alice M. (Brule) Chiras, 87 of North Main Street, died Wednesday, June 22, in Webster Manor after an illness. Her husband of 45 years, Michael Chiras, died in 1982.
She was born in East Douglas on November 10, 1917, the daughter of Arthur and Rachel (Pare) Brule. After her marriage in 1937, she moved to Northbridge, MA. She then lived in Dudley for many years before moving to Webster in 1999. She leaves four daughters, Patricia, wife of William Lord of Whitinsville, Gloria Saucier of Northbridge, Betty Flynn of Worcester, and Ann, wife of Gilbert Guay of Webster. Her six brothers and sisters predeceased her.

She made her living as a homemaker, caring for her husband and watching her daughters grow to have families of their own. She was a quiet person who loved crocheting, traveling and especially corresponding with her many friends. She actively kept in touch with many friends for over 70 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
