Marie-Jeanne died 6 August 1852 in Les Éboulements, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption-des-Eboulements). Marie-Jeanne was the child of François SIMARD dit LOMBRETTE and Marie LAVOIE.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.
